At Toshiba’s R&D lab in Japan, researchers are working on a robot called ApriPoco, a cute little thing that is able to learn from your habits to become the perfect universal remote. It is voice activated and responds and programs itself to take care of anything that is controlled by infared.

While our advancements in technology continue to amaze me, I wish that we were focusing more of our attention on more pressing matters like a cure for cancer and global warming instead of technology made to make us even more sedintary.

    Except I don’t think I would want it to speak like a baby to me, that I could do with out, however, the idea is cool…
